My husband has Van Insurance with Howden and suggested I also contacted them for my Car Insurance. So pleased I did, as I was with another well known Car Insurance Company for years, but their price rise was unbelievable. Howden searched for a price that I was comfortable with and so reasonable.

Having been quoted an exorbitant hike in car insurance premium by my previous insurer, I reverted to my previous insuring agent, APlan, only to find it had changed name to Howden Insurance. My dealings with Howden were pleasant and very reasonable. I have no reason for any dissatisfaction whatever.

Howdens is clearly a company that understands customer service (unlike so many others today e.g. banks, utilities companies even insurance companies themselves.) When I make a phone call to Howdens it is answered almost immediately by a HUMAN BEING, not a computer generated voice stating that they are receiving an exceptionally large number of calls then offering six options non of which I want, then go on to state that my enquiry can be dealt with on-line.
I would like to make particular reference to April in the Poole office who has helped me enormously with my recent claim and whose care and attention has been exemplary.

Saved a few hundred pounds on the price I have been paying for several years.
The only adverse comment I would make is that the room was very noisy and distracting with so many people working in the same area. Could consideration be given to improving the overall sound in the room.
