Howdens were acting as a broker. Not for the first time they asked me what premium I was looking to pay. The question maked me wary. I have given the search parameters and expect to be offered the best prices available. Next time I may as well go to a comparison web site.

Using Howden for the 2nd year running for my modified van. I have a share in a glider and the insurer we used retired and the account was switched to Howdens.
Howdens then notified me that they also covered motor insurance, as my policy was due for renewal in the New Year I obtained a quote which was at a better price than my current insurer for the same level of cover.
They are easy to contact by phone, you get directly through to a person, without having to deal with a "Bot", as is so common these days.
