Howdens offered me a very competitive quote for my camper van which I’d excepted. The lady whom had taken my call was extremely helpful and friendly and actually made the experience of gaining quotes a little more pleasurable .. The policy on my classic BMW was up for renewal and I contacted the BMW owners club service at Howdens for a quote. I spoke to Richard Spencer who guided me through the proposal details and came back with a quote that was only £1 greater than the cost of my previous year's cover which I accepted. Subsequently, I discovered that the ICAEW had a rewards scheme that offered free policy excess cover. Richard arranged for me to receive this benefit. I have two other vehicles and my home insurance who's cover will be due for renewal later this year. I shall definitely be contacting Richard for quotes.
