I contacted Howdens for campervan insurance and took a policy with them in April. I was very happy with their customer service at that time. Less than a month later, my needs had changed and so I contacted them again to see if they could assist. Vicky Campbell went well above and beyond what I would have expected in finding me a really good policy that met all my needs at a good price. She listened carefully, checked she understood what I was asking for, and went through each step carefully and thoroughly. She was patient and always happy to repeat if I hadn't quite got something. She was unfailingly cheerful throughout - it was like having a chat with a friend. Getting insurance is always time consuming and can be painful - especially twice in a month - but Vicky made it a breeze. The service she offered was exceptional and she is an absolute credit to Howdens. I should add that all of my interactions with everyone from Howdens have been brilliant - they are clearly recruiting the right people!

Having been with the same home insurance company for many years, with only one small claim nearly 8 years in the past, our new quote came in at almost three times the previous year. I tried one other company and their quote was a little less but still a huge increase, so I sought out a local company to help me. Howden insurance were professional but friendly, very patient (I hadn't had to go through the questions for many years) and found me a home insurance that was about 30% up on the previous year. Job Done. I've asked them to give me a call when our car and motorhome insurances are due!
