An insurance company where actual humans answer the phone. I wanted to renew my online car insurance with Sheila's wheels, who I have been with for years. They were very unhelpful, and did not want to find me a good deal. I happened to recall passing a Howdens shop in town, so phoned them up for a quote. Very friendly and helpful staff. Managed to get me a good deal, and it was reassuring to know that if I ever need help there is a person to answer phone, rather than just online. Plus the actual store where you can go in for help. Highly recommend.

I think Howden could have done a lot more regards the rising cost of insurance, people who propose some very good security on there cars to protect it, just find that insurers only go by standard security, and that’s a flawed issue as you can see by the percentage of thefts of 2022-2023!
