They said that policies had gone up by 50% due to inflation (11%) and wages(7%) ?? They had found only one firm that would handle my contents valuation but if I was happy to pay a voluntary excess of £400 it would be only 10% increase- not quite so bad. Good individual to deal with however.

I have been a customer at this branch for several years now, and always found them to be so helpful, courteous and caring. However, a recent experience when I lost a much loved ring with great sentimental value to me was nothing short of phenomenal. Still the caring goes on with another phone call from Andy the manager this morning to check how the claim is going on. From my initial phone call to Jamie when I was so upset, I feel truly supported and in safe, caring hands.

First used Howden (A Plan) last year when Zurich Insurance withdrew from the Personal Motor Insurance market. Zurich Insurance suggested A Plan and they were very helpful. So at renewal time, tried them again. They verified my details were the same, and then checked their panel of insurers. Quote for this year very similar to last years. Very friendly helpful staff on the phone and email, both times.
