The consultant Cecile seemed to make a genuine attempt to get me the best possible deal at the lowest price. She was professional and courteous throughout, and despite the quotation being double the cost of my current policy, I left the shop content that I had a good deal!

Really friendly and professional, the guy that arranged my cover was really great , he went above and beyond to find me the best cover ( which included extras such as legal cover ) which worked out cheaper than last year ! .. now that was an unexpected bonus . I've been with Howdens for many years now and I can't praise them enough . Speak to them first before you speak to other companies.

I went into the office to get a quote to renew my contents insurance on my flat. The gentleman I spoke to was great no problem with him. The problem was I had to speak to him through his computer monitor. I had to ask him to repeat various questions, as there were also two other females talking to other customers. I found it very uncomfortable, even mentioned it at the time. The other problem was the payment came out of my bank although the policy doesn’t start until the 17th
