I needed specific ' help' with renewing my house insurance. There had been a small 'heave' issue 18 years ago & it was ALWAYS classed as ' Subsidence ' . I felt I needed to actually speak to someone about this . I'd used APlan 8 years ago for both my daughters first car insurance. So I decided to call in to the office again. SO HAPPY that I did . Miranda went above and beyond to help me . She patiently listened and then began researching the Insurance companies to cover my home . Great results , all my queries answered and my House Insurance renewed , at a great price too . Being able to sit there and go through each question, rather than on the phone ,was a massive reassurance for me too. Brilliant service . Thank you Miranda and all the team at Howdens .

Howden’s arranged motor scooter insurance for my son and car insurance for me.
On both occasions, they listened carefully to our individual circumstances and in my son’s case even rang the insurance company to clarify parking arrangements which made a difference to the premium. This isn’t possible when relying on online-only companies.
We were both happy with the service we received. We might have shaved a tiny amount off by using an online broker but it’s worth it to be able to speak to someone face to face.

After being recommended by friends I contacted Howden for our home insurance policy, Jack at the Birmingham branch was so helpful, friendly and made taking out insurance stress-free. He explained everything thoroughly which made me feel confident I was taking out the right policy for us. Would definitely recommend and will be contacting Howden for future business/car insurance policies we take out.

I found that being able to speak to an agent without having to wait in a queue was very helpful especially as my policy isn't completely straightforward. I was given the name and contact details of the person who was dealing with me (Harvey) and was able to speak to him on several occasions to clarify any queries.
