Mr Garry Young at Howdens Insurance Brrokers was extremely helpful when I was having difficulty getting insurance due to my age. But after a long search he found a company who would insure me, my age is over 90yrs and i ride a CAN AM Trike. As usual I received notification of renewal well in advance which gave me an opportunity to study the terms, Subsequently a young lady( Catherine Smith ) from Howden telephoned me and explained everything clearly in detail and the completed documents were sent to me within 2 days.

At renewal in February, the existing insurer had increased the premium threefold. The personnel at Howdens employed their considerable expertise to obtain almost identical cover (albeit with separate insurers) with a total premium increase of only 50%. This was most welcome and an example of the customer service I have experienced over several
years with A-Plan and their new title - Howdens.
