I much prefer having someone to see in the event of a claim as I have had very poor experiences when making cat insurance claims online in the past - Being kept hanging for hours at the end of a telephone is not something I wish to do again in the future

I have used Howden (previously A plan)for many years now. I know that I could get a slightly cheaper policy online but with Howden I have a personal contact and it takes all the hassle away. They are always on hand to answer any questions and to get me a competitive policy which is suitable for my needs. I know that if I ever needed to make a claim that they would be there to guide me along the way. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

When it comes to renewing insurances it is so refreshing to be able to either visit the branch or have a telephone conversation with one of Howdens friendly and helpful staff in Swindon. I would recommend them to everyone - so much better than trawling round the various other impersonal insurance companies on line!
