Having taken out my car insurance earlier this year with Howdens (for the first time) I decided to get a quote for home insurance. The quote was cheaper than my renewal quote. It wasn’t as cheap as some quotes on comparison sites but for the sake of a few quid I decided to go with Howdens as I liked the idea of dealing with a local agent if there is a problem and I found the local agent (James) to be extremely polite and helpful.

My first experience of Howden and I am impressed. I arranged home and car insurance with them and staff were helpful, knowledgeable and very efficient in getting me a better deal than my previous insurers offered. The office vibe was friendly and professional, and I was pleased to hand over the task of comparing different insurance products.

The phone calls to arrange renewal were not easy to listen to and understand and twice we asked for hard copies to be sent to us to check before agreeing to the new documents but we never received them and had to repeat the phone calls. On the plus side the renewal suggestion was to our benefit. On future occasions we will be visiting the offices to overcome the need for phone calls.

Wow Wow Wow!! is what i have to say about the insurance broker consultant Maria. i have dealt with this insurance brokers for many years and we have 6 vehicles with them. We have always found the consultants to be above excellent. Today having just purchased a new RR i had to arrange a change on the insurance cover. Maria was a great asset and helped me through every aspect to make this an easy transition. Great work Maria you are a credit to your company. I would highly recommend this broker.

I was looking for an alternative price for my Range Rover Insurance and contacted Howdens who also provide our home insurance.
