I have been a client of Howdens for years and get my house and car insurance through the Southampton branch each year. I needed to insure a holiday home I have bought in Ireland and after researching this could see that Howdens could help. I phoned the Southampton branch who asked the question on the Howdens chat but after chasing it a number had not been provided. Late afternoon after completing on line quotes for various firms I found one for Howdens holiday homes, completed it then found a number I could ring and was lucky enough to get Gill Lynch in the Northampton branch to helpe.
Gill was professional, helpful and knowledgeable and was efficient and explained everything throughout, she had a wonderful friendly manner and when my quote was more than two I had received from an Irish company she was able to reduce the fee to make the price more competitive. Within a very short time of completing and payment, Gill had emailed me the documents. Gill was an absolute pleasure to deal with and a credit to Howden.

Lynne Douglas was particularly helpful Very friendly and welcoming but knowledgeable, helpful and professional at the same time. I had a difficult time with my last insurers - huge waiting times on the phone and they never seemed to know the answers to my questions. I didn’t have to wait ages at Howdens. Every phone call was answered promptly and efficiently

It so nice to talk to an actual person. I always get a good chat as I am arranging cover. They are always able to get me a lower quote and I feel that they really care about me and my business. I have used them for nearly 20 years. Landlord's insurance, home insurance and now car insurance.
