My husband did the exhaustive quote research prior to purchase! I was without my own insurance for 2yrs 3mntys as I had sold my car so was only a named driver on my husband's policy. Having insurance through Howden (nee A-Plan) a policy was found that allowed a 3 year period without insurance so I was able to use my full, 9 years NCD which kept the premiums as low as possible. Very grateful to Howden and particularly to the lovely Marina O. for her friendly manner, patience and help in securing the best deal possible.

Have used Howdens for years (previously A-Plan) and they are excellent. The quality of service has today been reinforced again. I have just purchased a new car and collecting in about 3 hours. I called Howdens and the change was done, along with new docs emailed over in less than 20 minutes. Thanks Tasmyn Billington for the brilliant customer service today.
