Have been using Howdens for years as my insurance broker for motor and buildings and contents insurance. Very happy with the four or so weeks notice that insurance is due for renewal and cannot fault their choice of companies and cost of cover. The day you know the quality of the company is the day you claim. Special shout out for James Gilmour at their Thatcham Branch, worked with me to deal with the vexed question of flood cover, recommended companies, and adjusted individual elements of the policy to get the best payout for the cheapest premium. Thats why we use a broker!

I rang enquiring about car insurance for my 17 year old son and the company was so helpful answering all my questions (of which there were many). I didn’t feel rushed or unimportant even though I had explained that he didn’t even have a car yet and wasn’t being insured on mine. When he did find a car I happily rang them back and they found a great price on a policy for him.

My dealings with Howden in Worthing have been entirely positive. Both the manager, Charmaine Lester and her colleague Anna Siatkowska have helped arrange my car insurance at different times and both were impressively efficient, friendly and helpful.
