Had the fortune to deal with Leuan, very professional, listened to all my needs and I ended up with a very competitive quote, so much so that I have now been back for a second quotation.

Howden are a great insurance company . I insure both my house and car with them . I have been with them for 13 years now . Laurie has always taken care of me and many family members throughout this time , she is always happy to go away and find the best deal possible that suits my needs ,as are all the staff that I have ever spoken to . I can honestly say that they are always at the end of the phone if you have any issues or questions and in my experience sort it out straight away . Can’t fault them at all . Thanks again Laurie for sorting my most recent car insurance out today , it’s been a pleasure as always 😃👍

Their business was taken over by A Plan which is now called Howden
Evesham office contacted me about my car insurance renewal and it all went smoothly and in fact the car insurance was less than last year

I have been with Howden for 2 years. A plan before them as they are the same/sister company.

I find Howden staff to be very bland, not in the least friendly, just official. It doesn't need to be a chatty conversation but when I am spending £761 I would like a bit of appreciation for using their company.
I went through the painful process of gaining another quote to try to change company but it came out the same, albeit they were far more interactive with me.

To add insult to my thoughts - before I'd decided to continue with my quote, a member of the sales team called excited to say they could cut my insurance cost. However once they realised I was already with them, the tone changed and reverted back to that the quote given would be the best one. Maybe they are better with new business.

Having no reason to make a claim - this will be the measure of how good the insurance company are. May I never have to find out. I have a tracker on my VW but as it is not one they recognise, although I pay £13.49 per month subscription to Global Telemetrics, who are set up to help recover my vehicle in the event of it being stolen, Howden offer no discount for that at all.

I have chosen to pay the amount in full this year to avoid further interest fees. I feel that is better for me.

Paperwork is always emailed promptly and seems in order.

By the time of purchasing my insurance i had 1 year no claim bonus because I had one open claim staff was very good that time he said when claim been settled we review it again and premium ll go down ,now the claim been sorted as no fault i got 3 years no claim bonus now I am trying to contact 3
times I called them provided my proof of no claim bonus but still no one contacted me every time I called I been told agent ll call back but its over a week now no one called back very disappointed, hello one of the staff member contacted me and he updated my no claim bonus and my insurance gone down ,thank you

I was given relevant information in 10 minutes. No wait on phone for ages. No frills, just the information I needed. No pressure to buy insurance from them. Slightly more than other quotes but no hassle.

Accepted the quotation, paid the money and received an email confirming such. Since then - nothing. No documentation, no policy number and therefore no ability to log in to my “online portal” to see and retrieve documents. Even on the day the insurance was due to commence I had to chase them up to find my policy number.

I rang for a quote for stallholders liability insurance, for a couple of vintage fairs and boot sales. Better to be insured. Rob Byrd made the experience totally easy and straightforward, also supplying a very reasonable priced quote. I also have house insurance, Business liability insurance and two vehicles insured with this company. So straightforward plus I like to talk to someone to receive a quote, very nice chap.
