I have just taken out a home insurance policy after a good experience with A-plan when arranging my car policy earlier this year. The service I received from Nick at the Bletchley branch (again) was fantastic. I was exchanging and needed to sort out the buildings insurance that day. Nick took the details and got back in touch within 20 minutes with two options, clearly explaining the difference and the deal he had been able to secure for me. I ended up paying quite a bit less than I was expecting, for better cover. I was especially impressed that Nick made the connection between my home move and changing the details on my car policy so the address stayed accurate, something I had forgotten about. Within minutes I had the policy documents to review (all correct) and was confident to proceed. He is a friendly, warm and efficient chap to deal with, he took a weight off my mind. and I will certainly be back at renewal. A-plan is lucky to have him!

As ever the experience with A-Plan is very good. Firstly they are easy to contact on the phone. Once you are speaking to them the whole process is very efficient and user friendly. They are also proactive but not in an intrusive way. I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an insurance broker.

Finally decided to do a bit of shopping around for my car insurance. The premium with my insurer for the last 13 years just seemed to go up every year. I took up the recommendation from a friend and called A-PLAN. Refreshingly the phone was answered by a very helpful woman who answered my questions directly, was patient and knowledgeable. All the options were clearly explained and a quote from a reputable insurance underwriter was obtained in a few minutes. The premium was about 40% below the quote from my existing insurer. I would highly recommend A-Plan to those who are a bit nervous about shopping around.
