Took out car insurance with Aplan because of their helpful friendly staff, ended up insuring 3 cars & 2 houses with them. After a recent non fault car accident Ellie has been an absolute star sorting everything out & making what has been an upsetting time so much easier, would highly recommend Aplan not just on price ,but their lovely efficient staff too

I've dealt with A-Plan over the years and have found them to be very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to business contents and vehicle insurance.
My most recent dealings were with Errol at the Shirley branch, an absolute gent who explained every facet of our new policy thoroughly and in "plain english" when required.
I cannot recommend A-Plan enough - keep up the good work Errol!

Very unhelpful about a multi trip travel Insurance policy I took out with them in December 2019 at the cost of £150.00. Obviously I haven’t been able to use it. Other travel Insurance companies have been offering a refund or an extension neither of which A plan ( Sunworld is the Insurer) have offered me. There explanation being I could travel to other countries ( I can’t actually as the foreign office advise is not to travel) or to use in the UK. I don’t need travel insurance in the uk!

I have insured my car with A-Plan (Dunstable branch) for the last few years. I used to spend ages looking on different comparison sites for the best price & found it really confusing trying to understand the different levels of cover, however this is all dealt with by A-Plan during one very quick phone call. They explain everything completely clearly so that I understand everything & I know I am getting the best value for money along with the best customer experience. Even when I have needed to make changes to my policy it has been so simple & quick to do.
My family now also insure their cars through A-Plan & have always had a fantastic service, especially recently after somebody hit & damaged my brothers' car (only 2 weeks after he got it!). We had also recently suffered a family bereavement so stress levels were extremely high, but A-Plan were brilliant - They made sure that everything was resolved as quickly as possible, kept us up-to-date & provided my brother with a curtesy car the next day.
A special mention to Elle who is our point of contact at this branch. She is absolutely bang on - Friendly, proactive, efficient, informative, knowledgeable... I could go on! Thanks so much for all of your help Elle, we really appreciate it.

Several years ago Aplan were fantastic when helping with my claim after a crash. There insurance went up after this and they couldn’t insure me for a reasonable price. This year I was able to go back to them and was really pleased. Unfortunately I was lied to on the phone, I had told the man I spoke to I was hoping to get a new car before Christmas so would need to change the car before the end of my year. I was told it would transfer over and so would my motor legal cover and car insurance. This didn’t happen I was also told it would so up by £100-£200 maximum. When I called I was told it would be going up by £600. Meaning with the money I had already paid they expected over £900 for a 28 year old to be insured on a Corsa. I have cancelled and gone with another company for £460 and had to take out more breakdown and motor legal. I have now lost money and had to pay £30 cancellation fee. Needless to say a lesson has been learnt the bridge has been burnt and I will never be returning.

Shehan was fantastic. Listened to what I thought was important. Suggested extras he thought would be a good fit which I wouldn't have considered myself. Took me through 2 quotes and explained the difference between them. I hope A-Plan are as comprehensive if in the unfortunate event that I have to claim are as helpful. I had a potential claim recently due to a leak and instead of having to negotiate with the insurers Sally-Ann Hamblin did all of that for me. It made the whole process so easy. My insurance is with A-Plan Coventry St Kidderminster.
I was involved in an accident early in Sept and the help and communication I have received from A-Plan is nothing short of excellent.
I rang the insurers immediately from the accident site and spoke with Matt Fellows, Matt's immediate concern was for me. He put everything in place for the car to be removed and reassured me that I had the correct insurance and that there was nothing for me to worry about. Matt has phoned me twice more during this to check that I was ok which I really appreciated. My car was a write off and I had the check in my account within 4 days. I was advised by one of Matt's colleagues that before committing to another car I could check with the office to see how much the insurance would be which I did.
The whole scenario of the accident was very upsetting. However I have to say that I was made to feel a lot better by the excellent service I received from Matt and the Kidderminster office. I would (and have) recommend A-Plan to everyone.
