A surprisingly positive experience with sound advice and a good deal of trouble taken by Christine to arrange the most suitable insurance. Went in to their office to see what they could offer, expecting it to be more expensive than an online company, and ended up insuring two vehicles as well as deciding to use them for house insurance when it falls due. Excellent customer service, it reminded me how much better a face to face service is over the impersonal online services I have used for years. A very worthwhile visit.

I had some confusion trying to renew my Home/Contents insurance. I had renewed very early on the phone and the agent said no money would be paid until the due date 3 Nov. This was wrong. At the due date I hadn't received any renewal confirmation docs receipt schedule etc. I had asked for it online not the vault. I was very anxious that nothing had been done and I wasn't insured. Eventually after 2 calls to APlan it transpired that the money had gone over early despite my asking it not to, but no docs received. Call No 2 to request docs which were emailed immediately. Whole thing ended up stressful. Speaking to different agents on a problem is difficult.

A local company which really makes you feel they do care about you. We have 5 policies with them and each year we renew them all as research of other brokers/insurers tells us that A-Plan gets us the best deals, both cost-wise and cover. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly.
