It is so very helpful to have an independent broker who can help find the right cover for your insurance and able to give you a super price for it. One must respect the slight difference to a online quote due the salary paid to the staff. I can highly recommend the branch and company for their services.

I have just taken out Car Insurance through A-Plan for the first time. I was very impressed with the speed, efficiency & professionalism in which my enquiry was dealt with. They found me a quote that has more to offer & also beats my last years premium from my previous insurers hands down. I thoroughly recommend that you contact them & obtain a quotation.

I was disappointed about two aspects of my renewal:
a) That my house contents went from 0 to well over £140 for the year (apparently I got last year free as a favour, but I never expected this kind of jump);
b) my car insurance has only gone down effectively by a mere 2p even though I now have a 5-year NCD in place.
Overall, I would have appreciated a telephone call in advance of the increased costs - enough in advance for me to have time to make an informed decision. Not only did this not happen, but I had to call myself. I thought brokers looked for the best deal for their customers?
I expected better treatment.

Good service via telephone. They took the time to actually listen and provide the specialist building insurance I required , rather than apply the computer says no answer, even more importantly if they didn't know the answer they checked to ensure I got the correct cover.

Whilst we have no criticism of the performance of APlan we find that the insurance itself does not cover very much. There seems to be very little we could claim for. At the present time we have a situation where water has caused
damage by leaking from the lead guttering (valley hip). The lead guttering has become distressed over time. An accident but we cannot claim.

I am extremely happy with A-Plan Simon Lewis was excellent in providing an excellent customer service and is an absolute asset to the company he has a natural friendly telephone manner and holds a lot of knowledge in his role an absolute delight to speak too and also helped me save a lot of money on my home insurance which I have changed from Halifax to now go with A-plan. Although I have continued my insurances with you and your staff were great (informative & friendly) I was disappointed that only when I questioned the cost and subsequently went into the market place did I manage to save between £150 - £200!
I would have thought that being a loyal customer after being with you for over 10 years that you could find the best competitive deal for me. Hopefully next year this will be the case!

All worked pretty well. Friendly service . Good car insurance cover with a reasonable price . The only downside is the interminable number of questions to be asked/answered, and the vast amount of small print to be read out at some speed .... and then the resulting number of minor typing errors in the documents that followed. All resolved quickly, and satisfactorily now though. Thanks.
