I've used A-Plan for my car and buildings/contents insurance for around 20 years and I've always been pleased with their service.
It's not the cheapest insurance quote you'll get, but if ever I've had an 'incident' I just have to make one call to them and they'll sort everything.
You get what you pay for.

Just one minor suggestion. When you call the member of staff contacting the client should be able to deal with the renewal. Once I told the caller I was happy to renew, I had to wait to be put through to the person who could deal with the renewal. That was a bit frustrating.

Annual quote for car insurance was coming up and I had a phone call from Lauren Serrano Burke.
I thought price quoted was a little more than I expected, but we discussed things and they came up with a better price. I reviewed the details and have accepted the new price as it is very competitive.

I was viewing a new car over a weekend and was able to pre-arrange a policy and then confirm the purchase and activate the policy outside of normal office opening times. The agent actioned my policy whilst at home. I hope I didn't disturb him too much.
Additionally, the price was very competitive.

I was with Aplan for a number of years and left about two years ago ... because I managed to get a better deal somewhere else... they contact with me prior to my car renewal ... they were nothing but helpful and friendly... they came back to me with a offer I couldn’t refuse, almost £50 cheaper and excess about 60% cheaper .. wow 😀
