Decided to go with A plan after my previous insurer closed, I found them excellent, friendly and efficient and a competitive price, I renewed again this year and even in the middle of the pandemic and they short of staff they still excelled in service, couldn’t renew in the office but they were working from home and the guy I dealt with was again friendly and efficient, would highly recommend them.

Like the personal service of being able to speak with a local broker who can help with admin things but frustrated with perpetual lack of competitiveness until I go onto comparison sites and only then do they manage to come in line. Not everyone will give them a second chance.

I used A plan first when we had a large claim on our buildings insurance for a rented property. They were the only people who could find us cover. Yes it may be a little more than the comparison sights but for the little extra you pay the customer service out weighs it. Plus it’s so easy for them to do all the hard work for you and make sure you get the best cover possible.
