I have always found A-Plan to be very helpful and professional. Policies are reasonably priced, with a good claims service.
However, the new portal in which policies are stored is fundamentally flawed. Why was it launched?
I recently renewed some policies with the Kidderminster branch and was unable to access these policies.
After a number of calls I discovered that this issue is because a classic car insurance policy sourced by the Thatcham A-Plan was already there...
Policies from different branches of A-Plan cannot be viewed on the portal, it seems.
The policies from Kidderminster branch had to be sent separately in PDF format by email.

After years of being looked after by the same insurance broker whose client's
were recently absorbed into A-Plan it has been a new experience for both myself and the new company, learning about each others expectations on renewals. Nick Francis was pleasant and professional throughout and hopefully he now understands a bit more about my expectations as well as myself about A-Plan.
