On the contrary, Michelle Baldwin at the Tooting office explained the renewal process clearly and concisely. Any contact was always at my convenience and the admin was completed without a hitch.

I found renewing my home insurance very stressful. My former broker, which A-Plan has now taken over, read all the paperwork for me, and I accepted the advice that the policy suited my needs. With A-Plan, I was read pages and pages of the policy over the phone in a monotonous voice. At the age of 88, I really do not want to be bothered with that.

A-Plan: A Light in a Sea of Darkness
After encountering many dead ends when searching for car insurance for my recently acquired BMW E36, A-Plan came to the rescue. They were the only insurer to offer me comprehensive cover, with add-ons, at a great price and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone, George, is also a car enthusiast and could completely understand my situation. I would highly recommend them over the other so called "specialist" performance/modified car insurers.

Was very happy with the service up to paying for insurance. However, when logging into the account the insurance documentation is not on file.
I have been notified of a 14 days cooling off period applicable and 11 days in I have not had sight of documentation to review.
This needs improving and insurance documentation should be visible at the point of signing up.

As a new VW converted camper owner I didn’t realise the requirement for a specialist modified van insurance (naively thought a search into a comparison site would do the trick!) I was recommended a number of companies who specifically deal with this type of insurance. Having spoken to one recommendation and explaining my concerns and how much of a headache it was causing me...his response “It’s not that hard love”...well it isn’t if it’s your job day in day out...LOVE! Safe to say thought it would be good to shop around.
So I contacted A Plan Thatcham branch and spoke to a lovely lady called Thea who talked me through everything and was extremely helpful, I couldn’t of asked for anyone else better to deal with sorting out the policy. A Plan provided a great price for the insurance I required. Really simple and straightforward.

Your operative Adam (in Birmingham) was most polite and efficient. When he found that he initially couldn't match the cheapest price I had found for renewal he said he would talk with his manager and ring me back. He kept his word and came back with an excellent level of cover for a very competitive price. It was a pleasure to deal with someone who treated me like a welcomed and valued customer and who did what was asked with the minimum of fuss and did everything he said he would. Thank you.
