Everyone I’ve dealt with at Aplan has been incredibly helpful in getting me a policy that fits my needs. The only reason I’m giving a four star, is because I will be charged to cancel one policy despite taking out a new policy. I renewed my original policy for a further six month to cover my 18 month tenancy. I stated at the time it would only be required for 6 months and I was assured this wouldn’t be a problem and I would get a refund. A cancellation charge was not mentioned and given I’ve just started a new policy seems quite cheeky. Credit to Aplan, when I mentioned this they said they could look into removing the charge. I am waiting on a response.

Very helpful local service. I've organised insurance on-line for a few years but decided it would be nice to go back to dealing with people and A-Plan delivered. Helpful, sorted out my insurance immediately and got me a better price. Definitely recommend and will use them again.

My experience with A-Plan is about 4 or 5 years now I find them very helpful and always there for me and they make sure that they give me the best deals for my car insurance and my house building and contents.
I never have bad experience with them also I recommend them to other people to deal with them if they can.

I have had many insurances with Aplan over many years. I generally very pleased with the service. But on this occasion I was very disappointed due to the fact that although Aplan have had my details of my accidents speeding offences and details of my van. When it came to the renewal this year. The gentlemen had none on file of the above. I had to make a point that he had all the details of my van, the e aftermarket wheels etc. I even emailed him photos to forward to the insurance company. I don't want a problem if the van was stolen or damaged in the event of a claim and that the insurance company won't pay out in the event of a claim.
I'm still nit convinced that as a company you have all the details required.
