Hi, my buildings and contents insurance was due beginning of this month. Last year due to COVID lockdown it was really hard to get anyone to answer my requests. My previous insurer had closed up for a while so I ended up going with the only firm that replied. Added with the trauma of a burglary the previous year I had to pay over double for the premium. This year expecting another year on from the burglary the price to be lower I was shocked to find they wanted another £150. A friend suggested I try A Plan. They answered the phone, talked through my issues gave me a quote which was around £100 less than last year. I am still going to be penalised by all insurance companies but at least the price had come down. They didn’t hassle or chase me. I phoned my previous insurer from 2 years ago who are now back up and running but they could not better the quote. I am now signed up with A Plan. The paper work arrived super efficiently and they will be my first port of call next year when renewal comes along. I am also going to see what car insurance works out when that is due. Plus I know where they are. They are contactable which is very rare these days.

Only 3 stars as I had difficulty in accessing the web address -Bing sent me to "justgiving". Fairly simple once I got there but slightly disappointing that you take 5% of my donation plus the credit card fee.
