I have used A plan for our household insurance for more than 15 years and have always received excellent service.
The personal touch of a staff member phoning me each year is something I value, and I have considered their quotes to be reasonable. This year out of curiosity I asked for a quote from three different companies which offered it to me - A Plan came out cheaper and best cover !

Using A-Plan for the first time was a breath of fresh air! After getting sick of automated and inhumane insurance company websites (completing the same tedious sets of inputs repeatedly as a result of the lack of loyalty shown and expected by insurance companies, ratcheting up their renewals to subsidise introductions to capture market share), my brother recommended to use A-Plan. Having a friendly advisor support me through the questions; able to re-use the data with their panel of insurers; answer my queries and advise - this alone was enough to convince me to go to A-Plan for all my insurance requirements. On top of that, their efforts and contacts offered me superior value for money than I was able to get buying direct. A very happy client!

The staff at A-Plan Insurance were all polite and very helpful and despite their quote for car insurance being higher than other companies I had contacted I decided to insure my car with them. I also took out Public Liability insurance for an event I am organising next month

Overall I am very satisfied with A-Plan. My only complaint is, despite my definitely being insured through A-Plan, when I made my first claim for many years, the call-handler was not able to access the files which held details of my insurance policy and could not even confirm I was insured!
