I have been with A-Plan for over 20 years for motor and home insurance. Their initial premiums are not always the cheapest but they do work with their panel of insurers to find better deals. Having a proactive, knowledgeable, UK based human to speak to, without lengthy telephone queuing, is worth paying that little bit extra.

I went on one of those sites like Confused.com to try and find a suitable insurer to insure my vehicle. I tried two different companies and each time I got towards the end of filling out their endless forms, neither of them would accept my registration number. I was feeling so frustrated as I was unable to talk to a real person. I then saw a flyer dropped through the door for A-Plan Insurance saying that you could actually talk to someone and they answered the phone without having to hang on for hours. Sure enough they were true to their word and a very polite gentleman took down all my car details and phoned me back with a great quote. I renewed my insurance with A-Plan again this year and I cannot recommend them enough.

I wanted to deal with a local company who would understand my needs and requirements in respects of my household insurance, something not possible “on line”. I had previous dealings with A Plan and called into their Malvern office. The office was noticeably tidy, with a professional feel and a roomy layout which is excellent for privacy. The staff were all very helpful which created a feeling of confidence. Having fully discussed my requirements we agreed on a suitable contract. A totally satisfactory outcome.

Brilliant to have a personal touch, with an insurance broker in a real (not virtual) branch in my home town, a real person at the end of the phone, rapid quotations, knowledgeable people and competitive rates. Also like the fact that they will handle all the claims should I need to do this.

I had a complex multi landlord insurance for both residential and commercial premises that I needed to set up. I am a bit of a novice and had worked myself into a bit of a state about it all. I had Aplan Basingstoke recommended to me by a friend and they were absolutely wonderful! A friendly, knowledgeable and stress free experience, everything was explained clearly and questions were answered for my level of understanding.
