I have used APlan insurance for a few years now, but this time I must say I found the fella whom I talked to on the telephone was very to the point as if he was reading everything from a clipboard tick list. So sadly not the usual friendly service that I had experience and expected from you.

I like the personal treatment that you don’t get from call centre staff. The staff are helpful and will try and get you a better deal. I negotiate and look around elsewhere every year. You may find cheaper insurance but I’ve found dealing with a broker easy and they do the work for you. I’ve been with A-plan on and off but mostly on over the last 12 years or so. Certainly worth a call.

A-plan run the way insurance companies should , they listen to your needs and get the best deal available and are there to sort out the mishaps , now have car , house , and rental house insurance with them hopefully motorbikes soon as well .

I have been using A plan Chelmsford office for a number of years. I needed a more personal service, which could not be achieved on an online portal. From day 1 the team have been excellent and this year after current insurer was going to substantially going to increase my premium cam to me with an option better than I had 12 months ago. Having had my personal car policy taken over by A-Plan due to a change of my previous broker's business circumstances a couple of years ago I was naturally concerned about how the new broker would be to deal with.
As it turned out A-Plan's handling of the two renewals since that time has been excellent, I had no problems contacting them when the renewal came due and their explanations of my options was very easy to understand and both people I've had dealings with have been very friendly and took whatever time needed when discussing aspect of the policy.
My only problem this time round was receiving the new policy documents via e-mail. They seem to use a third-party 'secure e-mail' service and I failed to manage to create an account on that system using the information provided.
On contacting A-Plan they immediately sent me the documents directly to me .. I can understand their using a third-party but it was a pity that proved a problem, hopefully next time it'll work as intended.
