My renewal came through at similar price to last year. However, I did an online comparison with Saga that was materially cheaper. I called A Plan and advised them - I didn’t want to switch as I have always enjoyed good friendly service from their team.
After reviewing some of the detail we reduced our average mileage estimate (I am about to retire) and removed some unnecessary ‘frills’ that brought the price down by £70. Although it was still higher than Saga, the difference was more marginal and I chose to remain. The consultant was very helpful and efficient and clearly wanted to retain my business.
