I have recently come away from being a company car driver and as a result I have had to search out car insurance as a private citizen. I was unaware that most insurance companies don't take into account a clean driving record for a former company car driver. This ultimately means you don't get a no claims discount so the prices are ridiculously high.
I set about searching the web for a company that would take into account my clean driving record and after various frustrating and fruitless calls to major insurance companies I decided to call A-Plan Insurance who advertised that they could help with this particular problem.
I contacted their office in Tooting and spoke with Olivia, what a breath of fresh air ! Not only was the process of getting a quote so much quicker than the major insurance companies it was a far more enjoyable experience. Olivia's professionalism and service approach were superb and she explained that my previous clean driving record would be taken into account by the companies they deal with. The subsequent quote provided by Olivia was the most competitive quote I had received by quite a large margin so I decided to go with A-Plan Insurance.
I would happily recommend to anyone to call A-Plan for a car insurance quote and excellent customer service.

As ever, we received a courteous call prior to the renewal date and were given a quotation, taking into consideration our needs. Hassle-free renewal and assurance of personal attention if needed. This was found to be necessary a short time later when we suffered damage during storm Eunice and they handled notification of a claim and garage assistance. Very friendly and helpful.

I came to A plan via a transfer of business. Patrick contacted me regarding my policy in good time for our renewal and worked very hard to understand our needs in insuring our our grade 2 listed house. He came up with an appropriate solution, which surprisingly was less than we had paid last year.

Woiuld be 5 stars but for two things:
1). I had to chase the quote twice by phone, Problem seemed to be 'working at home' and unable to see colleagues quotes;
2) promised to contact me about travel insurance - but no contact to date, 2 weeks later.

Changing from my long standing insurer was something I didn't want to deal with, on recomendation of a work collegeue I decided to give A-PLAN a chance to quote, I found them really helpful and the premium was 25%less than my current insurer saving me £200. I highly recommend them.
