I asked that my policy be endorsed to include £5000 value of goods being stored in a storage facility; was advised that this is not possible. As a broker, I would have expected you to discuss this with the insurer and negotiated a solution. There appeared to be no attempt to do so :-(

This year we decided to shop around for home insurance as we have been with the same provider for years . A-plan gave me a quote which wasn’t necessarily the cheapest but very competitive and having spoke in depth to one of their colleagues who confidently answered all my questions we decided to proceed. We saved around £45.00 with the exact or more cover than existing policy. The lady we spoke with was cheerful, polite and we would definitely recommend A-Plan in the future. Also we have renewed our car insurance with them.

I have moved home from a bungalow to an apartment. I notified A Plan Taunton in advance. ON arrival I contacted A Plan Thatcham believing you were one company with shared databases. Clearly wrong. Then after going back to Taunton by Buildings and contents were cancelled , I went back to Thatcham just for contents and they found a company however for a Premium of £100 i was charged a fee of £40. I do not consider that reasonable so likely A Plan will now lose a Customer who has been using your services for a long time.

I have today spoken with Joshua Robinson. He has reviewed my records and as a result has agreed to remove the £40 charge and we will use this during the renewal of my Car Insurance due shortly. Pleased to deal with someone who was able to understand and react appropriately. Thankyou

My wife and I were involved in a motor vehicle accident involving a USAFE Freightliner Truck on the 9th February 2022. Despite forwarding all the required paperwork to the MOD in Whitehall, London as requested by USAFE, Mildenhall we received no acknowledgment at all. We returned from holiday on the 15th March 2022 and still no response. We then contacted Darren Hayward at A-Plan Insurance in Bury St Edmunds for assistance and advice. Darren immediately e-mailed both USAFE at Mildenhall and the MOD in London requesting an explanation as to what was going on. After a couple of days, e-mails were received by myself and Darren giving additional information as to the position of our claim regarding the accident. We are currently awaiting a further response from the MOD in London. Without the help and assistance and local knowledge of Darren Hayward at A-Plan Insurance we could well be in the same position that we were prior to going on holiday.
We cannot thank Darren Hayward and A-Plan Insurance enough for there involvement and support with this matter and highly recommend them for any type of insurance. Thanks again for a first rate 5***** service.
