The gentleman on the phone actually knew a lot about the taxi / private hire trade and understood what I was talking about, he explained he had been with taxi insurance for 17 years. Unlike another company I received a call from, it was obvious that she was reading from a prearranged script.

Moved to Jersey and no comparison sites would work (pretended they did so filled in lots of stuff and then the "Computer said No"). Tried local insurers who promised to quote and then blanked me, (I have 14 years No Claims Discount and one speeding fine !). Reached out to Howdens who were the only ones to quote, and provided a price which was 70% cheaper than before ! Great service, much better than comparison sites !

I was very impressed by the prompt, personal service I received from Taiya, pulling together all the pieces for a couple of policies at short notice. Would sincerely recommend on the basis of convenience alone, but adding in competitive pricing and coverage makes this very compelling.

I talked to a friendly and knowledgeable person, who talked me through my policy for my car. The terms were more favourable than the one I had with another broker, although only by a little bit, but I liked the person I was talking to, and he explained various things to me, and answered my questions.
