Service in terms of asking questions and getting responses over the phone has been good. This is the first time I have needed home insurance and so really what matters will be when/if I need to claim. They are on expensive side (when looking at quotes in the market) but I am hoping for good service and peace of mind if something were to go wrong and I need to claim- as that is where money saved will count. But so far a good experience.

I haven't used a broker for my insurance for more than 30 years, believeing I could get a better price elsewhere on comparison sites or direct calling etc., but I was wrong.
A simple call and explanation of what I needed was carried out and then a quick discussion when I had the comparison prices to hand, and A-Plan beat the quotes I had, and gave a better all round product.
I will be going to them for quotes for my next insurance needs.
