So nice to speak to humans, rather than keep filling in genetic on line forms. Also wanted to make sure the insurance covered all my needs, again this is easier talking to someone and asking questions, whereas on line you wonder if everything you need is actually covered.
They chased up a rather slow insurance company regarding a claim and kept me up to date till eventually it was sorted.
May cost a little more for their time but worth it.

Just called to renew for my second year with APlan, on my self-build campervan. Amazing customer service, spoke with Tamsin Cook, wanted to increase the ‘value’ my van is insured for. She explained everything to do with market value, very clearly, increased the value it’s insured for but with no extra charge on the policy, which had already come through same price as the first year, so very happy! She was very knowledgable and even randomly explained why my home insurance had gone up (with different insurer) so we’ll be getting quotes from APlan for our other vehicle and house insurance next time! There’s obviously a reason they come so highly recommended!

The purchase process, involving face to face discussion with a local advisor 're my needs for insurance, was what I was looking for after unsatisfactory phone experience with my once reputable insurer reporting a potential claim experience.
I hope if it becomes necessary to report a potential claim incident that local face to face advice will be more helpful than the phone brush off from my previous, once reputable, insurer.

We already had our vehicle insured via Aplan and when our Public Liability was up for renewal, Lovelyne at Aplan Shirley took all of the stress out of finding us the best deal. Recently purchased landlord insurance from Gavin Douglas (Shirley Branch). Consultation was professional and the options were clearly explained to me. There was no hard sell (which was much appreciated) and solid justifications were made for the recommendations presented.
