I went with A plan who are a local company with an office rather than the big commercial insurance companies I'm so pleased I did the service and help I received from Harry at the Eastleigh branch was excellent he broke the policy down in sections so it was easy to understand and I have great cover at a good price plus you don't have to wait in a long phone queue when waiting for someone to answer the phone which is bonus

Excellent help in shop but I have not been able to access my policies on-line. Impossible to set up an account with A-plan as no verification codes sent during the registration process. This not corrected after two weeks despite reporting this fault. Local A-plan outlet has needed to email documents.

Using a broker cuts an awful lot of wasted trawling the internet, and you deal with someone already tuned to the insurance market. A-plan focus on phone calls when sorting out a policy, where the need to go through a "script" of questions and answers is long-winded and can be inconvenient if you are being phoned during your own working day. Statements of fact (+ any other necessary documents) might be better posted for out-of-hours reading, and then approved more quickly in a follow-up call. But overall service is efficient and courteous.

I was contacted by A-Plan after purchasing a car from one of their partners. From start to finish getting a quote was hassle-free. Felicia Agboka in the Tooting office was amazing. She was very kind and methodical and even managed to get me a quote that was WAY lower than anywhere else I had tried. She genuinely cared about getting a good deal for me which was evident when she said she was excited to tell me how much money she had been able to save me. Honestly could not have asked for better customer service. Thank you :) I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
