We recently had both of our cars stolen from our driveway, both insured through Howden Insurance Shrewsbury branch. I cannot begin to say how helpful they have been through this traumatic time! Freya dealt with the majority, helping us navigate through the claims and dealing with the insurance companies on our behalf at times. When settlement offers were made that we were not entirely happy with she negotiated with the insurance companies and achieved very good and fair results for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she went the extra mile helping out. Any member of staff we have spoken to has been helpful and friendly. We have used Howden Insurance for many years for car, house and contents insurance. Excellent company.

Price good, service not so. Helpful people until put on phone hold and cut off. Frustration forced me to walk to office to sort out. Once there got excellent service and i believe good cover - hopefully wont find out anything different.

We had good notice of our renewal sent via email with all the relevant information attached. When I called the office and spoke to Tara she was efficient and friendly and found an even cheaper rate. The whole process of renewal took less than 5 minutes but wasn't rushed and neither was I made to feel as though I was just a credit card for business. We have been with his company for years and they never fail us.

I have dealt with Catherine Smith, of Howdens and found her and the Howdens team professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I found Howdens after finding that other companies often used poorly trained agents or had confusing online forms. It is refreshing to have well trained people help with this process.
