My colleague and I needed contents insurance for our commercial premises. As we are not business partners it was not a straightforward situation of needing just one policy. Nicola from the Swindon branch was absolutely brilliant. She took so much time to understand our situation and our business. She regularly offered updates on time when she knew between clients we would be both available. She found us both a policy which met our needs.

I was struggling to get insurance for my van until I rang Howden's and spoke to the lovely Ibrahim who spent a lot of time and energy understanding my specific circumstances and making my case to the underwriter to get me a reasonable deal. I have just renewed my Landlords insurance with Howden Insurance ( A Plan ) in Swindon. The service I had was first class. I received a call from Lewis Hands who gently reminded me my insurance was coming up and would i like a quote. There was no hard sell, just a Lewis giving me the information so i could come to my own conclusion. Lewis checked that my circumstances had not altered or my requirements. The quote was very competitive from the previous year and so i proceeded there and then. Lewis also reminded me my home insurance would be up soon and could he phone in a couple of weeks, which i agreed to, and he did phone when he said, and again the quote was competitive and although up from last year the explanation as to why was clear and made sense, so i again proceeded I would highly recommend using Howden for insurance - and when you have a company / individual who you believe has your best interest at heart, then why look elsewhere anywhere else. I was looking to swap my home and contents insurance from British Gas. I have dealt with Howden before for my PI & PL insurance and so tried them out. Ashely was very professional and provided exactly the informtion I needed and made sure that I got exactly the cover that I needed. It wasn't the cheapest, but I am content that I have got value for money and am no longer under insured as I was before (without knowing!)

I had an outstanding experience with Katie at Howdens/A Plan insurance. She went above and beyond to tailor-make an insurance policy for my new camper. Katie provided friendly and human responses to my sometimes ridiculous questions, demonstrating genuine willingness to help and offering excellent advice on all my options. I highly recommend Howden, and specifically Katie, for their exceptional service. After calling three other brokers for comparisons, nobody came close to matching the level of service and competitive pricing. Five stars without a doubt!

The majority of my insurance policies have been set up by A-Plan and now Howden Insurance, using the Guildford Office and the Alton Office, over the last 14 years or thereabouts. I am perfectly happy with the service and help that I receive in both offices and have no complaints whatsoever.

I received the renewal quotation via email and then did a full review of the policy with Ben Lever. Ben re assessed my requirements and provided me with my required levels of cover at a lower price.
