Although more expensive than I usually get, the customer service is really good. It’s more personal, you can call them instead of having to mess about trying to figure out how to use ‘portals’ which I found frustrating and most of the time impossible, especially when you have memory problems. So this is the main reason I chose Howden. I’ve only just joined so I can’t yet comment on any thing else that may or may not happen in the coming year I’ll be with them.

Explained my requirements to Callum who was able to provide insurance that suited my needs. Slight difficulty was the direct debit arrangement which I took out as had always paid that way. Bit messy using the other company and on reflection reckoned not cost effective so Howdens cancelled arrangement for me. The q with insurance is how good is the claims system - hopefully won’t need to find out!
