I have been with this company - with various names - for quite a few years now and am perfectly satisfied with the cover and prices given. The only thing that stops me giving a 5 star review is the requests every year to change home/car insurance to them.

Customer care/follow up was excellent.

Car insurance due and luckily im with Howden was A Plan and i got called and a letter sent to remind me. Spoke to Jon he was so helpful and with insurance costs spiralling he worked hard to get me the best quote for my porsche. He was informative and so helpful and saved me £180. Huge thank you Jon

I dealt in person with the man I'd spoken to on the phone and everything went extremely well. No problems whatsoever. I'd always found A-Plan to be very good to deal with and I'm very glad to say that it seems that Howden will continue that experience.

Howdans have excellent customer service, the staff are always friendly, supportive, and profesional no long waits when calling them, they efficiently look for the best insurance coverage. It's not the company thats at fault
It's the costs. My insurance has gone up by 60% this year... Thats outrageous. The insurance industry is simply writing its own cheque for us poor motoring public who rely on their car etc to do their job...
I wish I could charge 1500 a year to basically tell people I will turn up if you pay me an exorbitant fee..
Howden (A plan) are a good company and I'm not blaming them for this in any way shape or form.
The industry needs to take a look at itself
