I have been meaning to get around to this, sorry guys it is unintentional. Nearly everything insurance wise is 'on line', Howdens (up to recently A-plan) are very, very much on the high street. I have a couple of vehicle insured with them, and the service I received from their Yeovil, Somerset office was exceptional. I walked in off the the street just to ask a couple of questions and thanks to Thomas Lock, Aaron Collis and Scott Allen, everything was done and dusted within minutes. Brilliant. Can't recommend these guys enough.

I had a great experience with Howden’s insurance. They were reassuring & found me the right insurance provider to cover a slightly complicated house insurance request. To find customer care like this in the world of insurance is as rare as hens teeth. Since owning my classic car I’ve always been insured with Howden and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you need something done and done right, speak to Tay (Thatcham branch).
My renewal is up next week and I found an incredibly competitive rate with another specialist insurer. Tay managed to drop my premium to match and saved me over £200, along with arranging several other perks at no extra cost. He also processed and finalised my agreed valuation, all in the space of a phonecall. I have never known such flawless customer care and an easier process to deal with.
You can add a tenner to my premium and get this man a crate of beer.

It was good to talk to a person on the phone without having to wait for ages. My details were taken and then an advisor called me to discuss my requirements further to find a car insurance which met my needs and was more affordable than the company I had previously been with.
