If you're staying in Ludlow or South Shropshire and you are contemplating getting out in the open air to experience some spectacular views, glimpses of history, wildlife and archaeology or just a pint of ale in a cosy country pub, then these waymarked pub walks are a great start

Starting from a variety of locations in the western half of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the walks and Days Out are designed to make it easy for you to support local country pubs, cafes and shops and to enjoy the great outdoors. You can even leave your car behind and many of the walks and Days Out are possible to access by public transport.

The majority of the walks are circular and vary in length from 4 - 9 miles. They are all clearly waymarked and each walk leaflet includes route description and map, making them easy to follow.

These leaflets suggest things to do in the local towns around Ludlow including Bishop's Castle, Church Stretton and Craven Arms. Each includes a short walk guiding you into the surrounding countryside along with helpful visitor information.

If you try one of the walks send us your feedback so that we can recommend them to others
