So it’s all over now bar the shouting and of course you are never going to please everyone, however the majority of the people who were in Beacon Park last night for Lichfield's biggest event to date, enjoyed a great experience.
The Lichfield Garrick held its first Local Theatre Day to celebrate the anniversary of the life of David Garrick, whom the local theatre is named after.
Burns’ Night commorates the life of the bard Robert Burns, who was born January 25th 1759. The day celebrates Burns’ contribution to Scottish culture.
You may remember Burns’ best known work is “Auld Lang Syne” and of course the Haggis, neeps and tatties traditionally eaten in Scotland on Burns’ Night.
Lisa Maxwell (Loose Women and The Bill) will star as Judy Garland in Peter Quilter’s acclaimed End of the Rainbow at the Lichfield Garrick from 16 to 18 May 2016.
This weekend in Lichfield brings a variety of events to suit everyone from a Winter Ball to tours and workshops to music from ABBAMANIA and young blues artist, Ben Poole.
