What’s Happening for Burns’ Night in Lichfield?

Here in Lichfield, you can join in the celebration by visiting our very own Scottish restaurant McKenzie’s in the Corn Exchange, where they will be serving traditional Scottish fayre.

Friday 22nd January:

Why not visit the Lichfield Golf & Country Club for a traditional Burns’ Night Dinner, an Ode to the Haggis with Scottish dancing and bagpipes.

Saturday 23rd January:

You can dance the night away in the Hamstall Ridware Village Hall to the “Red Hot Ceilidh Peppers”, where Highland dress/black tie is an option.

Monday 25th January:

Or enjoy a four course taster menu of traditional Scottish dishes that’s sure to delight at the Holly Bush at Little Hay Lane.
There’s a fantastic choice of dishes on offer – why not start with their mouth-watering Eggs Royale with Oak-Smoked Scottish Salmon, followed by Haggis, Neeps and Tatties in a Whisky sauce. What better for your main than their Wild Scottish Venison Medallions, then a creamy Raspberry Cranachan to finish?
