We had some friends staying with us and so decided to go on the tour of the cathedral heights- in a word WOW! Our guide was so knowledgeable, humorous, and caring we all had a great time. It was wonderful to see our home city from a different perspective and it didn’t disappoint. Lichfield looked splendid in the autumnal sunshine and our guests were bowled over and eager to return. A highly recommended activity for locals and out of towners alike.

If you're interested in History of Arts, this Cathedral is very much worth a visit. Don't miss the medieval wall painting, the famous Herkenrode stained glass and the Lichfield Angel. The staff was very informative and friendly.

Fabulous visit with an excellent guide (Margaret?) She was extremely knowledgeable and told us she observed things. The whole atmosphere at the cathedral and in The Close was wonderful. All the Harvest themed flower arrangements were gorgeous too.

The Cathedral is beautiful from the outside albeit it does require some cleaning up to make it radiate the beauty it deserves. Inside is spacious and benefits from some great architecture stretching into the high roof areas. Got to be worth a visit.
