Been a number of times and is simply quite typical of a cathedral without being anything special. Located in the city centre and the market at the side as well as oyther close buildings donr enhance it

Visited Litchfield Cathedral this afternoon and it was well worth the trip. What a beautiful building. It has a gothic look to it but complimented by hundreds of small stone statues built into its enormous facade. Inside it’s dimly lit which works extremely well as it keeps its mystic and holy look and feel. It’s free to get in but you can give a donation. Lovely.

Within 300 metres of city centre, best to enter via Dam Street. Volunteer handed us a leaflet on entry. Unique three spire cathedral with exhibitions and gift shop. Worth spending time here.Erasmus Darwin House in green opposite.
