Stunning Cathedral with 3 spires. Can be seen from all directions on the horizon, so must have been a wonder when it was first built. Stunning carvings at the entrance, along with beautiful stained glass windows. Worth a visit.

Free entry although they like a donation. There was an exhibition on of books when we went which in itself was interesting. I'd recommend it.

There are loads of cathedrals in the UK, but this is definitely the most spectacular I have seen. Wow! So huge and the detail etched into the building. Amazing! It was a gloriously sunny day when I visited it. People were out and about, sitting on the lawn, enjoying life.

Not sure there's a grander place in the country for a Covid jab. Pfizer for anybody interested. Beautiful place in peacetime, too.
