In the modern age to combine community use and historic monument in this way- stunning. They placed a huge rotating dome in the centre isle with learning clubs for kids.
The ww2 area on the history of German prisoners in cannock chase was excellent and touching

In their last week of their Gaia presentation and the whole world is just outside of your reach. Lots of information and stuff for children to do. The cathedral itself is in great condition, and the volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful.
Beautiful architecture too.
