Superlative, a Midlands cloistered setting, with association to St Chad. Taking in a service is highly recommended.

I am not big on visiting churches for a look round. My husband usually looks round while I say a little prayer. However I was temptemted to look round the tree exhibition which I thought was a brilliant way to get folk involved in the church. . Good history in this iconic church.

Went to the light show and thought it was spectacular! Fabulous to watch and well guided. The only reason it is getting 4 and not 5 stars is down to the toilets. They really need some work! Other than that I would recommend it to anyone. Hoping to come back next year.

We visited the Christmas light show and it was absolutely beautiful!
First we watched outdoors, the cathedral was lit up with music and lights. Then we went inside the cathedral where it continued and it was stunning!
Beautiful carols, the Christmas story, the Crib and lots of mini Christmas trees individually decorated by local schools and businesses! We visited York Minster 2 weeks ago and Lichfield cathedral beat it by far! Highly recommend all to visit next year, we will definitely return!!!

We visited the illumination of the Cathedral last night and thought it was fantastic, not only were there 2 light shows, one projected onto the school and one onto the cathedral , but the lighting and singing / storytelling inside was beautiful . The Chapter is The Starry Night Room And was stunning . It has really made my Christmas .

Amazing spectacular illumination of the cathedral from the outside it’s a real delight. Well worth seeing for Christmas it’s very well organised. However you will need a ticket to visit the display inside the cathedral.

My Daughter and family live in Lichfield, so we have spent many happy days marvelling at the wonderful Cathedral and its history. We never tire of its wonderful architecture and stained glass windows. This week we were treated to its wonderful Light display. It was probably better than last year as we had two separate locations each with its own unique production and music.
We then went into the Cathedral and looked at the tree dressing competition, a huge effort by all the local schools and businesses. Well done to all.
Once again thanks to all for making Christmas a mix of ancient and modern for all ages to appreciate.

£4.50 - I would have paid double for this. It was a fabulous event. An absolutely credit to the cathedral. The light show on the exterior was magical and the inside was decorated so festively

Excellent light displays. The organisation and helpers were excellent even though there were big crowds all evening. The
Mince pies and mulled wine stalls were a lovely bonus
