Interesting place to visit and surrounding areas also good. Pleanty of places for breakfast, tea or coffee and cake along a lovely little street from back of cathedral called Dam Street. I choose the Olde Nook, very nice attentive service and good food

Visited today with hubby and wow what a Cathedral.
No entrance fee so we were happy to give a donation. Everyone we met was friendly and polite. However Gerald (Cathedral Volunteer) was exceptional. So much knowledge, friendly, approachable & wonderful sense of humour.
Fabulous medieval cathedral & particularly liked the Chapter House. We definitely need to return to view the library (currently under renovation).
Although the Nave was being set up for a function this evening, somehow it didn't detract from our enjoyment of this wonderful church.
Also visited The Cathedral Shop at No.9 and had a delicious lunch at Chapters, the Cafe in The Close.

The whole Cathedral area in Lichfield is gorgeous, and the Cathedral an architectural gem. We were lucky enough to arrive during a service and it was wonderful to join in the worship and absorb the atmosphere

Lichfield should be very proud of such a majestic Cathedral steeped in history, definitely worth a visit, could have spent more time there, on my revisit list.

What a wonderful cathedral in a brilliant little city. You don't have to walk too far to find it and I would make a point of visiting. There are guided tours but we didn't make it for one. You'll find 1300 years of history packed inside, with a medieval wall painting, the Herkenrode stained glass and the Lichfield Angel. It is the only medieval three spired cathedral in the UK. See what I did there? That's where the title comes in! It is free to get in but they like a donation. It is situated in The Close just across from Erasmus Darwin's house, also a must. Also there seems to be more barber's shops than anywhere I've ever been before. Oh, and I must say the navitives are really friendly

This is a charming cathedral and well worth a visit. If possible go on one of the free guided tours. Very interesting and, although a donation would be gratefully received, there's no pressure to make one.

The cathedral is a must if your staying in Lichfield. Also the arboretum is a place every one should visit. You do need time as it’s surprising large . It’s a beautiful and very well kept place. The volunteer that work ther are very helpful and you will be surprised how many memorials there are.

A lovely Cathedral. It was an absolute delight to attend the full ‘Choral Eucharist’ on Sunday. The choir and organist added to the musical enjoyment of the occasion. Everyone attending the service were very friendly and happily engaged with visitors.
There was plenty to see wandering around the Cathedral. Lunch in the Chapter House was an added bonus.

Such a tranquil and peaceful place! Not normally into buildings and architecture but this cathedral is breath taking!!! I was fortunate enough to be in the congregation and the acoustics in there complemented the choir beautifully! X

Oh what a place to be able to visit every day if i wanted to. Absolutely breath taking. The staff friendly the peace and calm. And everyone in a while you have the honour of seeing buddhists.

Evensong is always a lovely service. Yesterday the girls choir of the Cathedrl School were singing, beautiful.

The cathedral set in a delightful close is unique in that it possesses battlements indeed was once under siege . The church is very contained and beautifully illuminated by a broad church of coloured windows -the work on which is stunning .
It is not only the county cathedral of Staffordshire it also contains many memorabilia of the county's history .
The facade of the church is very impressive with most of the statues still in tact representing religious and royal icons . The red sandstone employed set them off so very well .
Unfortunately the library had recently been relocated but apart from that absence the church looked well used and kept .
I would strongly recommend a visit to anyone in the area .

It worths a visit. It is located in a lovely town. I had the chance to join an Easter ceremony there, and I felt part of the community. It is a place not only beautiful for the building itself but for the people I met there.

One of the loveliest cathedrals I've ever seen. The front aspect is a awe inspiring, with all the saints looking down. Magnificent. It was rebuilt after the civil war due to both sides bringing it down with cannon fire. The Victorians did a beautiful job rebuilding. It certainly well worth a visit. Its free admission at the moment, but periodically they have been known to charge, best check on website. I believe the shop and cafe are opposite the cathedral, but there are several good place's to eat very near by

Such a serene place to spend a couple of hours. It has everything to enrich your knowledge of both the Cathedral and the local history of the region. Stunning architecture, stained glass and a very serene place to sit and contemplate life! Donation is a pleasure!

Although Litchfield is less than 20 miles from where we live, didn't realise what a magnificent cathedral it had, well worth a visit.

A wonderful monument steeped in history. Although it is a grand architectural wonder look for the small details and the large medieval stained glass ieastern windows. Try and visit when there is one of the many events on. This is a Cathedral worth visiting.
