We went to a Sunday service witch was filled with lots of music it was wonderful then lunch in the cathedral restaurant also fabulous

We visited here on the 2nd July, on entering a lady asked if we wanted to donate, which we did. Felt a little intimidated but we also bough some cards from her too. The cathedral inside and out is magnificent, and when we asked a gentleman who was working inside where the ancient carvings ect where he kindly walked with us a nd explained the history, showing us things im sure we would have missed. So my advice is ask if you find someone. There is so much to see we spent a couple of hours just enjoying the peace and atmoshere.

We love coming here, the cathedral is beautiful and everyone there are so polite and welcoming, we were lucky to get there just before service on the Sunday so we stayed and got blessed which was lovely then after we had a look around and took some amazing photos, we spent all day there and loved it would recommend Lichfield Cathedral to anyone

Loved the cathedral and the grounds were especially pleasant. I love the close, the cathedral school and the small cobbled street off it (Damm Street). Must go back with more time.

It was alright, some things to look at that were slightly interesting but overall it was ok. Would recommend to people that are totally bored out of their minds!

A lovely experience powerful paintings atmosphere and displays.we were. Lucky to visit as the organist was playing.wow what a wonderful sound.do go if in the area we are so glad that we did! M

Lovely cathedral, interesting history and architecture, free entry. Not the biggest cathedral but a lovey place to visit if in the area.

Beautiful and impressive, well worth a visit. Just a short walk from the centre of town - though parking nearby can be challenging. Also walkable from the bus terminus and railway station. Highly recommended and a must do if near Lichfield.

Visited the cathedral many many times and never tire of it.
It is amazing what was achieved all those years ago without all the technology and tools builders use today !
We couldn’t visit all of the cathedral as a Sunday service was on but I enjoyed what I could see.
If you have not visited before and like amazing architecture then it is a must !

This is the main cathedral in Lichfield, a town 49 minutes away from Birmingham.
Constructed between the 13-15 century, this is the only gothic church in the world with 3 spires.
Magnificent from the outside, reminiscent with all its statutes to the Notre Dame de Paris, strangely enough, I think it competes with it.
The interior is equally impressive, the design, finishing, and amount of details.
Totally worth a visit, highly recommended!

Lichfield is our favourite city and we regularly visit. The cathedral is I believe the only medieval cathedral with three spires. It has plenty to see from the outside but the interior is a must also. At certain times you may find an exhibition being held here and there are many activities going on throughout the year.

an amazing sweet cute town of england , i would always recommend a visit to such towns its a beautiful experience , you can cover the city in 2 hours and beautiful cathedral , the details and very impressive

Although Lichfield may not be on every tourists list, the Cathedral is impressive for it's great size, it's three spires and for the magnificent stone carvings to the exterior.
It is visible from a great distance but the size is not apparent until you get close to the building. The beauty continues inside where the high vaulted ceiling is quite stunning when viewed from either end of the Cathedral.
This is of course a place of worship, and the skill and artistry of those who built it shows the dedication and passion they must have had.
Definitely one to put on the list
