An incredible building, further notable for it's triple spires and statues of Anglo-Saxon kings around the entrance. With free entry, it's definitely worth a visit.

We were the choir in residence for the weekend between Christmas & the New Year. They seem to attract a decent size congregation & are very welcoming. The Cathedral is of course beautiful as most are. The Christmas decorations were lovely, and meaningful.

We stopped here to appreciate the architecture of the cathedral, which appears to be visible from every part of the town we visited. We had just missed the Christmas tree service, but enjoyed the display of decorated trees lining the church. Take time to visit while this is still on if you can, but still visit anyway, to see the carvings, statues and stained glass windows. Inspiring and moving.
