This was another of their light and music shows which are very good , this one was to do with the end of the first world war, their Christmas shows are well worth a visit

Visiting here is very peaceful, not the hustle of better known cathedrals. It is not far to walk from car parking.

Special interior son et lumiere of First World war. Amazing. They do something similar each August. You have to buy a timed ticket.

What a beautiful setting to hold this exhibition. It was visually stunning as is the actual cathedral itself. We spent an hour wondering around taking in our surroundings. Well worth a trip and a powerful message. Peace.

Magnificent exterior to this cathedral. Insude was a little disappointing. The choir were practising which was a bonus. The outside is stunning, such a wonderful work of art and surrounded by beautiful historic buildings.

Image Peace Exhibition is really worth visiting. The volunteers were genuinely welcoming and considerate. I liked the community involvement and the ways visitors were asked to contribute and interact. Quiet places for reflection.... do visit the Chapter House with the falling leaves. To sit on the floor of the nave and experience the light and sound show was thrilling. Kids will love this, but my 80 year old Mum, did too!
Well done artist in residence and the whole team. Great job. Well done!

Beautiful projection of 16 million falling leaves. The colours were amazing and quiet corners where you could imagine Peace . It would be wonderful if the people who
Visit this could spare a moment to remember the soldier's who fought and gave their
lives so we could have peace.

We were astounded by the beauty of this cathedral from the outside, and this feeling of astonishment, delight and awe never left us. The stained glass is stunning, and every aspect of the Cathedral is exquisite.

Friendly staff and a wonderful display of Peace & Remembrance material which was all displayed with clarity. The greenery added to the ambience. Took my parents who spent a long time reading all those displays. And of course the building - what a treasure.

Wow what a stunning building. An architects dream. This is my first my visit and neither the adults or children were disappointed. I thought we would have to pay a set fee to see all parts of the cathedral which is disheartening (take note York Minster!) but no. You are issued a ticket on arrival which merely registers visitor numbers. It wasn’t overly busy and we visited at a weekend. The children were given some brochures which had a challenge to find certain items or displays of interest within the cathedral. There were also interactive touch screens dotted around that the children could read. Really good idea to keep them interested. I would say we were there around an hour overall. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a sunny day and the light through the stained glass was magical.

We visit regularly, just to wonder around and soak up the ambience. There is such an extensive history to this place, that you can always leanr something new. We have visited at Xmas eve in the past and just to soak up Xmas and many other times.

I have visited many cathedrals over the years, but Lichfield has been the most interesting. It has age, 3 spires & no entry charge. As it is not within a large city is is more serene & makes for a reflective visit. There is written information so you could take your time learning about its history. It is in a lovely setting, surrounded by old buildings.

This is possibly the most impressive cathedral I have visited, the three spires and carvings on the outside are amazing to see. There are some interesting things to see inside as well. Would recommend the free guided tour so you can really appreciate what you are looking at, guide was very knowledgeable and had loads of interesting stories on the history of the cathedral.

A great way to spend an hour or two, when in Lichfield. Entrance is free, and there were a good many volunteers around who offered more information about the building or providing guided tours.
