Beautiful. You do kindly feel forced to donate something to enter but I guess it’s understandable. They had a very cool display of medieval bibles which was very interesting even if you are not religious.

A truly special space. From the genuine warm welcome at the front door to the overwhelming feeling of reflective calm in the nave, Lichfield Cathedral gets to you in the very first minutes.
We were so lucky to have a kind and knowledgeable guide to show us details that would have been so easily missed. The detailing in the stone carving is phenomenal. I am truly surprised that Lichfield Cathedral does not have a higher profile nationally. Well deserving of a visit.

It's a lovely building, one of only three in the UK with 3 spires. Absolutely wonderful stained glass windows throughout. A remarkable Fenland black oak table in the centre dating from a tree that apparently grew more than 5,000 years ago. This remarkable building is well worth a visit.

AMAZING CATHEDRAL even from the outside.
The stone work is fantastic I'd definatly go back to to walk around the outside again.
It's free to go in if you are hard faced enough to go past the main entrance with the polite (It's free but donations are welcome) speech.
The inside is also worth a look even for a couple of Quid.

C'est magnifique ce lieu. Je me suis senti absolument impressionné. Le personnel qui travaille là est très agréable et en plus la visite est gratuite. On peut faire une donation pour maintenir la cathédrale volontairement.

We visited for the Bible exhibit and it was wonderful! There was a man explaining various parts of the exhibit and he was great to listen to, and with great info.

Absolutely beautiful! The cathedral is not very big but worth visiting. We didn't have a chance to explore in detail as we got appointment on that day.

The shop is inside the cathedral but toilet and cafè are outside. Would definitely visit again next time to explore more.

Breathtaking, captivating and majestic. The Cathedral is truly mesmerizing. There is a small gift shop inside the Cathedral. There is no entrance fee but a donation is requested. It is absolutely amazing and we are fortunate to be able to visit.

Very accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs inside.
