Stunning cathedral with excellent interactive screens for information about the Lichfield Gospels and the stained glass - and of course St Chad!. Highly recommended!

A wonderful cathedral. The outside is adorned with figures of royalty & saints. The inside has beautiful stained glass windows. There is also a large display of white peace doves, & other artwork. A real piece of history.

On entering we were met by a delightful member of staff, a young lady who was exceptionally helpful. She answered all our questions fully with a smile.
Cathedral superbly decorated with Christmas decorations, and though a very cold day outside the interior was warm.
Plenty to see.

A wonderful experience, just wish I had more time, regardless of a previous review there is disabled-access into this cathedral, loved the doves & Xmas tree competition, as normal architecturally the cathedral was amazing, free to enter but they do rely on donations, a must see if in Lichfield

Had a few hours in the town and we particularly wanted to see the doves and we were captivated by them. An added bonus was the Christmas Tree decoration contest which was a great idea. We must come back to look at the Cathedral properly again, tbh we were very distracted by the Christmas theme and didn't pay enough attention to the other treasures - next time we will.

There are far too many things to highlight but the Tower tour is a must all residents should do this at least once. I had the opportunity to visit the bell tower which is not open generally to the public but a magnificent opportunity to experience an historical masterpiece that lives boldly in the 21st Century.

A fantastic Cathedral steeped in history. It's free to enter but you can give a donation if you choose to do so. Fantastic stained and painted glass Windows. The outside architecture is stunning with status of saints and early English kings adorning the front.
Built over 1300 years ago like most cathedrals and churches it's gone through several periods of charge with now various areas of the building dating to different periods. Marvelous staff are guide's can show and explain the cathedrals marvelous history.

Fantastic Christmas display, however we didn't get to vote for our favourite tree as we were unaware we had to pay to vote.
