I visited recently for the first time since my childhood, which brought back lots of positive memories. The Gothic architecture is stunning and I also enjoyed the memorial to the Staffordshire Regiment within the cathedral. The cafe serves good quality fare at fair prices.

Beautiful stunning architecture. Just a shame the guide book doesn't really tell you anything about the statutes that are on the outside.

This place is not only stunning, historical and a part of English heritage but also a very warm and friendly place to be. They have a great café too. It's free to enter but they so encourage donations which in my opinion is very important to do. This won't be my last visit.
